Recs and essays should be good.

I went through a bit of an ugly period during freshman and sophomore year. Basically, my mother became addicted to drugs and psychotic, resulting in about a year of hellish home life and culminating in my parents divorce. I feel somewhat guilty exploiting personal issues to help me get into colleges, but this has contributed significantly to my character, and it is something of an adversity I overcame, so I suppose Ill write a pretty good essay about it.

Colleges of interest:
Harvard
MIT
Stanford
Cornell
University of Chicago
NYU
Washington U @ St. Louis
Emory
Rensselaer
UF
College list is subject to change but that gives a good idea of it. Im undecided on my major as of yet. Many kudos if youve read this far, and extra thanks if you reply!
