I'm just wondering can you retake your acts/sats because I heard some schools still take that into consideration.

depends on if ur scores are horribly terrible-

I didn't take mine again- too much stress- I'll rather spend the time watching desperate housewives-

If you want to retake the SAT, you can. Some schools like Stanford even encourage you to do so if your scores are low. The exceptions here are [again] NYU (won't take them) and Cornell (doesn't care). As far as the rest - don't assume that just because you are in college when you retake the test, your scores would be looked at differently. If you aren't sure whether you should bother or not, consider whether your scores are above the average of the school that you are applying to. If they are, raising them won't give you an edge.

When you say "average", do you mean 50 percentile?

no- I think he means average for the school- for instance for harvard I think the average SATs for most applicants is about a 1400, so getting a 1470 will keep you in the range for harvard as a transfer applicant-

Most schools don't look at the SATs as much for transfers- except maybe UChicago.
Correct me if I am mistaken though...
