IGETC Transfer Question?

Cal Poly seems to be the oddball among the CSU system when it comes to admissions policies, so sometimes it’s hard to find information; even then, I’ve had info that I’m sure is right for Cal Poly later turn out to be incorrect, so I want to ask to make sure.

I’m a junior transfer who will be entering in Fall 2012. I will have completed my IGETC by the end of this spring semester. Does IGETC completion get me off the hook for Cal Poly’s GE classes (except for the 3 upper division GEs I have to take in-residence)? Because even though I’ve completed the IGETC, I feel like some of the courses I took in CC don’t articulate with courses offered at Cal Poly. Or does completion of IGETC ensure that I have taken a class that articulates with each of Cal Poly’s requirements?

For an example, Cal Poly requires two Stats/Math courses for GE area B1, but IGETC certification only requires one so I only took one. At Cal Poly, will I have to take another math course, or am I done because I completed the IGETC?

I’m really confused. Any info or help would be fantastic, because I’m trying to develop a plan for my courses over the next 2, 3 years and I can’t clarify my GE requirements.
