Ikenberry Hall

S received his dorm assignment - Ikenberry Hall. I'd appreciate comments and info about it:
- Room description talks about 6-person suites and quads. Since he only recieved information about 1 roomate, I'm assuming he's in a suite. Is there a way to find out who the other 4 guys will be so they can coordinate bringing stuff for the suite common space?
- Ceiling height is 7'11", so I think lofting the bed is feasible if he wants it, albeit cramped. Lifting a few feet is also an option. Comments/advice on that? We have a week or so to decide if we're building a loft, assembling a kit/reconditioned unit, or renting.
- How are the rooms set for power? Will he be living his life out of a single outlet and surge protector strip?
- Does the desk have rails for hanging folders?
- Storage - I'm leaning towards using nestable rubber maid bins to move his stuff in. Empties can go under the bed or back home for the year.

Since we're coming back for Family weekend in October, it's not like we have to bring EVERYTHING in one trip.

Other suggestions are appreciated.

jmu doesnt provide info. on suitemates, but if he has a facebook like almost eeryone else, he can probably find them. my room(not in the village though) had 3 outlets last year, so it should at least have 2. surge protectors are probably a must though. the esks don't have rails, just 3 drawers. and i'e found the under-the-bed plastic storage containers to be very very useful!
