oh i’m thinking of the wrong question for this math one.
does anyone remember a 6 sectioned-off circle, so then they averaged out to be some number degrees? yes?

Ellipse question— first choice x^2/169 + y^2/25 = 1
Car with a 15 gallon tank filled twice@ 32 mph—960 miles
abs(x) greater than or equal to x
Last question - two circles and asking what the tan of one angle-- (r1-r2)/(r1+r2)
Pushups 5w+20

Intersections 0, 1, 2

READING

(*)Little Girl Moving
Dad was excited to leave, mom and girl were reluctant
Gerard was her friend
They were moving to a more affluent neighborhood
Soothing but she did not understand what her father was reading to her

(*)Scientists and Anthropomorphism
the animals bit them because they were being handled

(*)Native American Filmmaker
Directors have a narrower focus
It’s hard to work with actors
Uses typical shots because the audience needs to understand
Actors always “Are” because they have the Indian experience
Filmmaker was not ogolulu (his wife was)

(*)Tree

the sequoia grew 100 times faster

SCIENCE

Star X has 16 times brighter than Y temp = 5k and what is the temp of Y? 10k
Relationship q–There is a certain amount of visible matter, it is less than all matter in world
R is a ratio, it has no units

What was the answer to the Math question with the inequalities and the enclosed region? I think I picked the answer that talked about the diameter of the circle.

Yeah I said area enclosed by semicircle & diameter.

What was the answer to the question that was like there are two circles of radius of 2 and 3 what is the region of all points some distance away?

Ok, thanks for the clarification guys… I put 180-2x too.

LucyLoves - I think you’re referring to the art project of a spider web? I got 360/12 = 30, also…

On a reading question, under the passage about the old tree, one question was asking what “neighbor” was referring to… Anyone recall what they put?

On the reading, passage Native American Filmmaker (I think the same question as derek posted), it asked according to the reading, which one of these do you think the guy wouldn’t describe himself as, and it gave names of tribes (I think), and ‘filmmaker’… I thought it was the tribe that started with the letter “O” because he during the interview he told a story of asking his wife, who was a from “O”, if the way they were portrayed in a film was accurate.

EDIT: I think you can pretty much disregard my entire post… Man you guys are quick!!

On a reading question, under the passage about the old tree, one question was asking what “neighbor” was referring to… Anyone recall what they put?

^ I said it was a the type of pine tree in the area that they named.

I’ll just keep posting as I recall the questions… One of the reading ones asked what steps made it possible for the baby pines to grow as mentioned in lines 5-7?

I put the answer about the guy planting the seedlings and them surprisingly sprouting.

Also, looking for further discussion on the candle reading where it asked if the comment of like “on the porch, on the windowsill, on the whatever” should be removed or not… I but it should not because the digression sets the tone, I THINK.

I was on the tree section when I was running out of time so I had to skim and guess a decent amount of questions in that passage

I really have no idea, derek, but I’m hoping for a composite score higher than 30 at least (because 30 was what I got the first time I took it; this will be my 2nd time ;P)
