I said most of theaters played only newsreels for a long time. It said in the passage that in 1920 t o1950, 3/4 of movie theaters played newsreels. But idk it never said anything about “only” newsreels. So I’m really not sure. However, none of the other answers made sense from the passage.

What did you put for that one?

oh, and towards the end of the science passage, there was a question about the screens and diffraction patterns of light where you thought you had 1.5 m between the slits but it was actually 1.3, what affect would that have had on your experiment result. was it less because… ?

It would be less, because as the x decreases, W also decreases.

@ rickyrich, i think that’s what i put… was that answer a?

As x decreases so does W i think

Hiya that is correct

@rickyrich, yeah for science, i put less, too. i knew the reason, i just wasn’t sure if the answer should be less or greater given how the question was worded…

Was there an answer for a question where one decreased, the other increased? I swear there was one… I’m not sure if I put that one for the question you guys are talking about.

@timex1649, the reading question was A? or do you agree with the science question?

thundertaken, i think there was, but it wasn’t the difffraction 1.3 instead of 1.5 meter question.

Hm, I don’t remember if it was A.
Gosh it ticks me off. I really wanted a 36 on this one, but I put departed - and that may be wrong - and I also said that you should not put the list of stuff (arsenic, acid, etc) because it was repetitious. And I usually fail reading but was hoping that a 34 in there would boost everything. Damn I didn’t think I did so poor in English… Oh well if I can somehow not get a 30 in reading and still get a 35 I’ll be happy.

Hiya I was agreeing with the science question. I’m almost positive that the reading one ur talking about was like “they had theaters that played newsreels in many big cities”

So, the newsreel question “what proves the popularity of newsreels” was A, movie theaters showed only newsreels? …shoot, was that choice A? cause i specifically remember putting a…

@Timex, is that reading answer your saying the same or different than the one I said? Because i think the “big” one was many big actors began their careers or something.

@timex, do you remember if that answer choice was one of the later ones, like h or k?

@ACTester, I thought we had established that grammatically it would be “immigrate to”. Since emigrate is leaving a place. If emigrate is correct because “emigrate to” is correct, then depart would be correct for the same reason.

Ricky i think we are talking about the same question, the answer i put was either A or B. i dont remember them saying anything about “3/4” tho maybe i didnt read it all. lots of people i talked to also put the answer i did

besides the newsreel question, we’ve already established that the volcano question was 4 km, 30 degrees north?

what did u guys get for the “Ice cream cone” problem (that is what my geometry teacher called them) it was like an equilateral triangle, and the base of the triangle was the diameter of a semi circle? i put “(1+ sqrt3)/2” it was choice A

Was the answer choice like D? I do remember it was 4km.
