Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is for the ILR School? And is it true that there's a lot of reading involved?

36%...wow...that seems high. ilr is tough to get into, i guess don't let the acceptance rate fool you.

all the ilr kids say that there is lots of reading but cmon everyone reads a ton at cornell

addendum: wow i guess i had forgotten these acceptance rates, some of them just seem inconsistent with stereotypes (a testament to the evil of stereotypes):

Architecture: 19%
A & S: 20%
Engineering: 36%
Hotel Admin: 23%

CALS: 27%
HumEc: 34%
ILR: 36%

sure acceptance rates aren't so important but they are rather telling sometimes

Eng has the highest acceptance rate. Now that's telling (as in don't depend on rates)

yea exactly...crazzzzy

they say ILR = I Love Reading

I looked into that link alot but after some research, the 36% is misleading. The applicant pool is VERY well qualified!

i totally agree...i mean it's kinda like UChicago...their rate is almost 40%, but i think that the applicant pool is just so amazing that the number somehow works out, it just has to do with how many people apply to the school. just like you can't be an idiot and go to UChicago, you also have to be extremely well qualified to go to ILR. however, that is the true acceptance rate.
