what is the acceptance rate for ILR?

the title pretty much says it.

Either zero or one, depending on who you are.

I think it's around 25%, but I could be wrong.

25.18% actually.

http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000003.pdf

I'm always amazed that there are 2,000 students who don't choose a college. That's ridiculous.

Those 2,000 have a special place in my heart, just for their sheer...specialness.

Haha, I agree squaregirl. For helping lower our acceptance rate and giving us $120,000 in application fees at the very least.

Does anyone know the acceptance rate for transfers? I've seen about 60% but have heard that this is inflated due to GTs. Is there someone that has an definitive answer on this?

http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000156.pdf

Don't forget about the ~2,000 that apply to Cornell College...some even ED. :D

Ok so 229 applied and 134 got in- pretty high percentage. But does anyone know if this link includes GTs? It says special students not included but not sure if GT falls under this.

"Special students not included."

I wonder if that includes: URMs, H/EOP, Recruited Athletes, wailisted, GT's. That's alot.

I wish they had statistics for H/EOP students. Seriously, we are truly blind when we apply through that. We have no statistics at all. The only one they give is that they usually accept from 50 to 60 students through H/EOP. Which isn't exactly comforting. lol

No. It refers to non-degree seeking students.

As I have said many times on these forums, GT's are included, and this has been confirmed by multiple people in ILR admissions. Most of the external transfers I know are GT's, so it definitely inflates it heavily. I have been told the percentage of non GT external transfers hovers around 30%.

bluebayou hahahah yes exactly
