ILR In-State Tuition

From what I understand, ILR is a contract-college that gives reduced tuition to NY residents. However, I was trying to think of possible exceptions. Lets say you're a transfer student who is a resident in NY State, but has completed college credits in a different state. If you're transferring into a contract college (ILR) does the reduced tuition only apply to transfer students that have completed college credits in NY community colleges or SUNY Schools?

Also, does anyone know how much cheaper tuition is at a contract college, specifically ILR, for in-state students?

If you are an NYS resident you will be charged in-state tuition. It does matter if you attended an out of state college.

A simple search of Cornell’s financial aid website will give you the approximate cost of one year for IS/OOS contract college tuition and endowed college tuition: Costs

Thanks for the post and the link

crap…I meant to say it does not matter if you studied at an out of state college before transferring.

haha didn’t even notice
