Is Chapel Hill really going to be a reach for me? I thought that it would be more of a match because i'm instate.

i don't think it's a reach for you. doesn't that freshmen class have to be like 82% instate or something like that? i would bet on you getting there

yea. 82% instate.

You all really think I'd get into notre dame? It's not my top choice, but I'd still be happy with going there and I figured it'd be a reach for me. shrug

Columbia-reach

i don't know much about notre dame. i just thought you'd get in based on ur URM status and SAT scores are over their 75% u think.

i was wrong. 25-75 is 600-720CR and 630-740M.

i would say it's a reachymatch.

I like that word. lol.

i dont think filipinos are URMs

Columbia, Duke, UPenn, and Cornell are definitely reaches.

I've been told that filipinos are URMs. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=356928

Of course, i was told that filipinos are urms online, so I'm probably going to ask my gc. Does anybody know the legacy policy at Notre Dame, because I had an uncle that goes there. I don't think I would be a legacy there, but since I'm not a cat, it doesn't hurt to ask.
