haha, just kidden. I was wondering, I enrolled into AP Biology as last year and some important concepts are covered (even essays) through the Labs we did in class. Are there labs in AP Chemistry, AP Physics (B and C), and AP Environmental Science that need to memorized for the AP exam?????? Thank you very much. :)))

Chem has multiple exams that may come up on the AP. Physics B does as well, though to a lesser extent - almost all of the labs are just common example/review problems that don't actually need to be performed. C has fewer labs - just be sure you know what an ammeter, etc. does, when to use them, etc. No idea about the AP environmental. Hope that helps.

Chem- qualitative labs help a lot. Know your colors of solutions, flame test colors, and reactions.

I think labs are pretty important for AP Chem. As in Bio and Phys, you would be better off not actually doing the labs, but just studying the concepts presented in them.

You don't need to know any labs for any AP test except Biology. The other ones may test very basic lab techniques or concepts, but only Biology has the required labs as published by the College Board.

Chem - there is one lab question on the FRQ and lab procedures on the MC questions.

Physics C - there is one lab question on each of the exams. but you don't really need to know anything besides how to graph data and do the concepts.

Environmental Science - there is also lab questions here ... but if you took AP Biology you should be fine since they are very similar. but prep books cover several lab procedures.

I dont remember for sure, but i think the lab question was optional, so u can still get a 4 or 5, without knowing anything about the labs.

Nameless, I'm assuming you mean for Chem?

Rumor is, the options are being taken out.

thank you guys, that's a big help. the reason i asked this question was that i might take an online class, (apex learning probably) so i was wondering if they cover labs and what on the test.
