I'm a current FSU engineering student...

I originally applied to FSU because I did not have a chosen major. I love the college, but I am finding it troublesome to stay now that I have changed to engineering. My grades are pretty good, and I could go to much better engineering schools, and I am worried that FSU/FAMUs CoE is awful. I am a sophomore, my GPA is 3.59, I have been in engineering for a year now, and I am definitely going to stick with it. I had an internship last summer, so I know I love it. The question is, do I stay at FSU and possibly get a bad education, or do I transfer to somewhere with a better program. If you suggest transferring, then where to?

Note: If I transfer, I don't want to go anywhere in Florida, so don't even mention UF or UCF. Virginia Tech, or Johns Hopkins would be more in the ballpark.

All help would be appreciated! Thank you!

I’m curious as to what you have decided. My daughter will be attending FSU and biomedical engineering is something she is considering.
