five hours ago i go to the store below my apartment and i fax in my reply card to duke.
yup, i am now officially a dukie! wooooohooooooooooooooo!!</p>

<p>just wanted to thank everyone on this forum who answered my questions and helped me decide that duke is the place for me.</p>

<p>i've held a basketball precisely 5 times in my life (not too popular a sport here), but something tells me this fall my face is going to painted blue and i shall be leading a maniacal dance around a bonfire after we kick tarheel @ss.</p>

<p>so, indulging my love for melodrama, i thought i'd copy-paste the first and last lines of my "why duke?" essay..</p>

<p>well, you still need to send the $200 deposit so.... there's gotta be some use of snail mail, unless somehow u can pay by credit card or somethin over the phone.</p>

<p>yeah.. but you eventually have to mail it to them... i faxed it cos there's no way it will reach via post/courier by the 2nd...</p>

<p>the fax number is given on the top right hand corner of the reply card</p>
