<p>Should I start writing my college essays in small increments this early? I have a question though, do essay prompts change? My senior friends suggested writing them gradually due to the stress they are currently experiencing (given they are procrastinators).</p>

<p>It definitely wouldn’t hurt to start now but don’t overstress yourself doing so. I would just suggest writing ideas/possible topics you could write about.</p>
<p>In the supplement portions of each school the essay topics vary. Some schools also may have 4 essays you have to write while others may only have one. It all depends and the topics change year to year most of the time. (unless they are the “why __________”</p>
<p>However the commonapp essays don’t change. At least for the past two years they haven’t. Soooo good luck!</p>
