As a kid I used to build airplanes using motors that I ripped out of whatever junk I found. I went from airplanes, to helicopters, to cars, and then I jumped to coding in java and such. In my essay, I simultaneously also go through the process of how I ‘discovered’ the type of person I really am along with the career I plan to pursue. I would obviously expand on this but is this topic too weak and unoriginal ? Im kinda iffy on the self-discovery part because that seems to be really cliche.
Seems to offer insights regarding your development, interests & inquisitive mechanical nature. Could be a great topic depending upon the execution.
I see what you’re saying, but doesn’t everyone offer what I am offering? Is it still unique?
Google “Hacking the College Essay 2017” and read it. This article talks about how to write an essay that only you cuold write.
Thanks!!
I think it’s a cool topic depending on how you write it. You need to be interesting. I assume you are going into computer science /engineering or similar. Yes it’s been done before but not from your prospective. They need to learn about who you are and how you will contribute to their community.
Be sure it’s about WHO you are, and not what you DID.
