Love it, esp. the deep volunteering. Multiple years and many hours. Looks like you have an interest in public health care. Could do that with Spanish. You look like a great candidate!

" (definitely pre-med)"

Your senior year schedule doesn’t show any math courses. What level of math will you have achieved?

@milee30 At my school, Dual Physics counts as a math course. I just finished advanced precalculus this past year. I was planning to take AP Calculus, but due to scheduling conflicts with several of my other classes, I had to settle for physics.

I normally don’t chance but you peaked my interest.

You really should think about adding Calc. I’m not sure how you are going to handle college physics without at least 1st semester calc. High School physics is fine, since it is algebra based. AP Spanish adds nothing and if you are a native speaker, it looks like you are using it to pump up your GPA and running away from Calc.

While you ACT is fine for admissions, if you can squeeze another point or two into your ACT, I think you get into serious merit aid with a 34. Vandy and Tulane love high stats. You can do the homework and see what kind of merit is available for each school and decide whether or not to take the exam again or if they superscore the ACT.

Good luck, you are a strong candidate even if you keep the schedule as is.

You’re definitely a strong candidate for Sewanee - if that’s your first choice, then you’re unlikely to come out of this process disappointed! I feel as if Wake Forest would fill a gap in this list - it’s similar in many ways to Vandy and Duke, but not quite as much of a reach. And if you like Sewanee and Rhodes, then maybe look at Centre also? Good luck - I think you have a great, balanced list.

For elite schools (duke and vanderbilt) it will be quite a reach.
For top 30 schools, low reach/high match.
For state flagships, match.
