I'm annoyed by poor people and minorities. Is that wrong?

Take a chill pill, unless your insurance doesn’t cover it.

Our great coverage is worthless unless all American citizens get it.

.

Strange, because speaking out against universal healthcare in Canada is political suicide. But yet… you make it sound as if the Canadians dislike their own health care system.

Strange indeed.

And I hope none of the 47 million w/o health insurance get ssick and goes to the emergency room for “free” care today.

Surprising to me that people argue to retain the current system: 47 million uninsured, you can lose coverage if you lose or change your job, 14% of health care costs going to administrative overhead, expensive subsidized care available to uninsured through emeregency rooms, with inexpensive preventative care largely unavailable, and rationing of care based on income and type of job . . .

Kei

Who said anything about keep the plan we have now? I just dont want government telling me when I can get treatment for something. The government has no right to take caring for oneself who can sufficiently support themselves into their own hands. You just sit back watching the country fall apart, Im gonna do something like write my senator or congressmen. I hope you get a brain tumor and have to wait 8 months for surgery.

props to NearL :)

OP
I have to say that I am one of those poor people you are reffering too, and im paying for college with loans. In fact so many loans I dont know what to do. Also my parents have horrible credit (due to not having the money to pay for a car) and i got rejected from the biggest loan I could get, leaving me short of money that I need. Dude I dont even have the money to buy my stuff for my dorm room. But you know what I’m surviving and Im HAPPY to have the opportunity to go to college( First one in my family!!).

Oh and on top of all that I didnt qualify for work study eigther!!!

Future BSME - According to Aristotle, the cardinal virtues are courage, temperance, wisdom, and justice. I laud you for the courage of you convictions and hope that the others develop over time.
