<p>I continue to find conflicting information about the Pogue Scholarship. Sometimes it says that students must fill out a preliminary application, which can be found online, to be considered for a finalist position for the scholarship. However, I can't find this application. And other times, I see that the committee will be sending applications to those who they have nominated for the scholarship. I don't quite understand. Do you fill out a preliminary scholarship or do you have to wait to be invited for the scholarship? If you have filled out a preliminary app for this year, please tell me.</p>

<p>Previously, you did have to complete a separate application to be considered. Beginning this year, however, the only way to be considered for the scholarship is for you to be nominated by the UNC Admissions Office. There is no longer a separate application.</p>
