Do we sign up for it or are we given a date? I'm so confused.

You have to sign up and there should be a couple dates for you to choose from. It should say something about it in WA once you paid your deposit if I remember correctly.

I’m doing the bridge program. I paid my deposit for that and there wasn’t an option for me to pay for the fall. Could that be the reason why I haven’t gotten anything for the orientation?

According to the ‘Important Dates’ page (http://www.lsa.umich.edu/csp/studentprograms/summerbridgeprogram/importantdates) your orientation is after move in so it appears to be just another part of the bridge program. You could always give the CSP office a call to verify though.

Login to your umich gmail account with your new unique name. You may have missed a bunch of messages including the invitation to orientation one. You can also access the orientation registration from Wolverine Access. I have heard most of the early sessions are full already. Not only you need to register for it, you need to go through pages of information and answer some quiz questions before the registration.

Appears Summer Bridge students do not register for orientation. See Q11 in the bridge FAQs on the website referenced by Fatsquirrel.

Sorry. I responded without reading the follow-up post. So OP should not receive an invitation to orientation by e-mail since he is in the Summer Bridge program.
