I'm confused about the signed tax returns.

Pick up the phone and call Drexel financial aid. Ask to speak to a financial aid supervisor, not a student. Before you hang up, ask that person to please send you an email confirming your talk. Get their name, mailing address, and email address.

Okay alright. I just have to tell them and that’ll be fine right?

They will tell you what to do.

And emailing UChicago is fine right? Calling Drexel Financial Aid now.
Ok I just called, the representative said someone will email in with in 48 business hours to have the information updated.
I just called Collegeboard and they said that they can’t change it, but it’s a minor error so just contact the institutions I sent them to.

So in my UChicago account, apparently I can upload CSS profile corrections, but I don’t know what to upload.

Hello. Is it true that after I submit my apps, I’ll be getting emails about the specific application portals for colleges I’m applying to?

^^^
Some colleges do this to allow you to check on the status of your application.

Should be fine then…

You confuse us now. Are you talking about CSS profile or college apps? You should create a different thread if you want to talk about college apps.

Well I’m sure CSS profile are on time, I’m talking about financial aid documents. And yay i’m a senior member now.

You need to read the acknowledgement after you submit the CSS profile to see if they ask you to send any additional documents for each college (I don’t remember whether CSS asked me to send anything for EA appliciation or not). And you will receive the instructions from College Board to send additional documents like 2014 income tax return and other forms later (after January 15).

You also need to read the FA website of each college to see other instructions. Each college has different requirements. For example, to receive FA from Penn you need to fill out Penn Financial Aid Supplement.

http://www.sfs.upenn.edu/finaid-checklists/checklists-pro-us.htm</a></p>

Swarthmore, Princeton, and other colleges also have different forms.

Some colleges may remind you to send missing documents. But it’s your job the read the websites carefully.

Yeah I checked all of the ED/EA schools I’m applying to, 2 of them want the CSS profile and tax returns in february. 3 of them want just the CSS profile in November (sent) and only 2 of them want tax returns now (sent them this week and last week). I’m trying to contact UChicago but they’re not responding…might call 'em.

And yeah they want 2014 tax returns by February.

From Uchicago Financial Aid:
The University of Chicago no longer requires information from the Non-custodial parent for prospective students. It is possible other schools you may be applying to require this, but we do not require the Non-custodial Profile.

Yes, that is true this year for U of Chicago.

Okay so I guess I don’t have to worry about them…I am still in a email thread with Drexel…and Penn’s set.
