I'm doing a survey for AP GOV-Help me OUT!

I'm doing a political belief survey for AP U.S. Government. It would really help me out if you could take it. The survey is posted below. If you are willing to take it, please take it seriously. You can either post your answers, PM them, or email them to asb41281@yahoo.com When you respond with your answers, number them 1-14, without the questions.
Thanks very much.

Thanks a lot guys. I really appreciate it!

Keep 'em coming

From an AP Stats kid to an AP Gov kid:
This survey suffers from
1) Voluntary-response bias
2) Convenience sampling
3) CollegeConfidential not being remotely a simple random sample of Americans
4) Response bias -- leading questions

But if your teacher's not that strict with statistical principles, I'll contribute to the cause:

1) No Opinion (define better off...and is it necessarily a good thing if the people are better off?)
2) No Opinion (I don't have a degree in economics)
3) No Opinion (I'll tell you when I get a religion)
4) No Opinion (I have no idea, check back when I get a system of beliefs)
5) No Opinion (depends on if man has free will)
6) No Opinion (I have no clue what a poor person may or may not need, nor if they all need the same things. Perhaps if they want to survive they'll need certain things from the government. But that's a "maybe.")
7) No Opinion (don't ask me any "should" questions)
8) No Opinion (is it more important to serve country, humanity, or something else?)
9) No Opinion
10) No Opinion
11) No Opinion (again, I'm amoral)
12) No Opinion (to what ends?)
13) Socialists (I was a bizarre 8th grader)
14) Independent

Strongly Disagree

Disagree. Government programs haven't been helping at all.

Disagree. No matter what anyone says, their religion has had some influence on their personal beliefs, especially anything in terms of morals. It's hard to ignore that. Plus a lot of people follow religions that require they vote according to what the church teaches.

Disagree. Except for the education part. Without an education people cannot get the other things. I don't think handing the other things to people would solve any problems. And the people who work hard would end up getting lazy since everything can just be handed to them anyways.

Strongly Agree. No one has been there to dig me out!

No opinion.

Very Conservative.

Fizix...I was just about to say something similar to what you said about the biasness of the survey, but you beat me to it. : ) I'll answer anyway, because I don't really have anything to do at the moment.

Strongly Disagree- The government was set up for a reason. There are activities such as the economy and religion in which the government should stay out as much as possible while activities/institutions such as military and order should be centralized.

Disagree- Private companies are usually much more efficient and proactive in their objectives. That's why the government usually offers contracts to private companies to fulfill a role. I'd rather have a government oversight over private companies that deals with these problems. Then again, the government might slow down the company with red tapes and procedures.

Strongly Disagree- That will have to depend on which country you're talking about. For the United States, I would partially agree although I have to accept the fact that since religion is a facet in many people's lives and thinking, it is inevitable that religion does have an influence in the government. Heck, from the AP History class, the "separation of church and state" was more to prevent incursion of the government against the church; not vice versa as it seems today.

Strongly Disagree- I don't even need to explain this. The government ain't their mothers.

Strongly Agree- See #4

Agree- Let them have the safety net, but cut it loose after certain number of months have passed.

Agree- I agree IF it strongly upholds the "as much as possible" part of that statement.

Agree

Strongly Disagree- Actually, I would more let the states decide for themselves.

No opinion- Let the states decide

Strongly Disagree- "No matter what the cost"? the hell?

Disagree- That really goes against the reason the Constitution was created: The creation of a strong federal government that shares or divides power with the state and local governments: We'll be going back to Articles of Confederation here.

I'm more attracted to Democratic Party's values yet I hate the party and its members themselves: Independent or Republican.

Indepedent- a bit lean to the liberal side.

Flame me away with my reasons :)
