I am entering my first year at a 4-year university this year, but it's not my first choice school. While I'm fairly confident I'll be happy at the university I'll be attending, there's something inside me that really wants that other school.

I already started the Common Application and I've filled out most of the information to apply as a transfer student. There's an issue, though: the school says they "highly recommend" submitting SAT scores. I have not taken the SAT (just one of the many reasons for which I think they rejected me) and I am interested in taking it in January or February of this upcoming year.

Given that I'll be a full-time student in college this year (with a double-major and a minor), I had two Cs in two of my AP classes last year, and I have just below the school's average ACT (29 and it's a 31), would it be wise for me to study for and take the SAT and maybe an SAT subject test (Literature, possibly)?
