I'm going to Community college, should I worry about my SAT score?

If I get my associates degree at CC will the college that I am transferring to look at my SAT score? I haven't found any answers for this and I'm wondring if I should study for the SAT or just take it and not worry... In essence, I got a decent score the first time, but should I try to get a better score this time around? I'm a senior, btw.

Yes most colleges will still look at your SAT taken DURING HIGH SCHOOL when you eventually transfer out. You can also retake during college, but some schools don't technically look at those scores, even if they "see them." (i.e. NYU)

The more you've done since HS, the less any school is interested in your HS testing, including the SATs. If your post HS transcripts show you can do high quality work, this will go a long way toward helping you get admitted as a transfer. You can ask the community colleges you plan to attend & the colleges you plan to transfer into for more details.

It sounds like you plan to take it again either way, so you might as well study for it.
