I don't have too much criteria, no small schools, good reputation, highly selective, undergrad business school is a plus not a necessity, good sports/social life, nice campus

I have 20 schools on my list, so can anyone help me narrow it down? (or add if I'm missing some)

UVA
U Mich
UNC
Wharton (UPenn)
Cornell
UCLA, USC, Cal
Stanford
Duke
Rutgers
Maryland
Vanderbilt
UChicago? maybe not
Georgetown
UTexas
Northwestern
Emory
Notre Dame, BC? (I'm Jewish)

OOS admissions are going to be very stingy at places like Berkeley, UCLA, UNC, UVA (Umich somewhat also, maybe even UT because of the 10% rule) and financial aid may make it so that it is a much better value at a private school. If you want sports/social life you most likely won't find it at UoC.

What are your stats? It'd be easier to tell what is realistic that way

I'd assume that your "101 ish" is something like a 4.0 or higher. I suppose your SATs could go a little higher, but you shouldn't worry about it.

If you have a tough schedule and a good extra-curriculars, I'd say you have decent chance on making all of those schools. Don't worry and stop fretting. You'll need that sleep.

Honestly, if you really can't decide, just start cutting things out geographically. Despite us all being in the same country, there's definitely a cultural difference from region to region. Especially for those OOS public school, that culture issue (?) might be more prevalent. I'm sure it's something anyone can get over pretty quickly regardless. That's what I did.
