I’m interested in studying journalism. I’m hoping to be a media/entertainment-ish journalist. I know USC is a great school for journalism, but I want to know about Annenberg and the School of Journalism.
Advantages? Disadvantages? Unique qualities?

Advantages: direct pipeline to all major media, including internships at all news networks and newspapers. In journalism, who you know is more important than what you know. I studied journalism and turned down a career in journalism to pursue law, but studied under professors who worked at the L.A. Times, Boston Globe, Washington Post, ABC, NBC and CBS. Met and/or interviewed Tom Brokaw, David Halberstam, and Connie Chung, among others. I also have friends who, like I, were staff writers for the DT and are now editors at the LAT.
Disadvantages: competition based on the foregoing. You must be driven and ambitious to succeed, as well as a good writer.
Unique qualities: location to major media market, better than Northwestern or Columbia, IMO (or Stanford or Harvard, or UCLA) because of superior and better internship opportunities and depth of inside industry contacts.
