<p>It's silly to want to get into an ivy solely for name purposes. I kind of think you don't know any better. Just do what you enjoy and stick to it throughout high school, take the most challenging courses, and relax.</p>
<p>The truth is that most people actually apply to ivies like Harvard and Yale mostly based on their prestige.</p>
<p>Which, I must say, is stupid. I mean, if prestige is ONE factor, then fine. If it's THE factor, then get some new priorities. :)</p>
<p>Nobody likes to admit it, but students apply to places like Harvard based largely on its prestige, which I agree is ridiculous.</p>
