I'm kind of puzzled here by the Official Study Guide

I just bought it yesterday and started doing problems for the test tomorrow

i've done a majority of the tests, esp for reading comp

for some reason i've been getting 0 to 1 question wrong every critical reading section, however i feel as if i have no clue what i'm doing (i've done 9 sections do far)

is this a good thing or a bad

Maybe your feel for it comes naturally and you can tell when a word is "wrong"

I don't see how you can possibly get 0-1 questions wrong under timed pressure without having a clue of what you're doing. Maybe your idea of a "clue" is too high (I think there is more confidence involved on the math section than the reading section; most people can be sure that they got no more than 1 wrong on the math section but cannot say the same for the reading even if they do only get 1 wrong).

I just feel as if i'm just passively/subconsciously just picking the correct answers

another 2 sections gives the same results

and only 1 mistake has come from passage/short passage reading

Well then look up the explanations for them somewhere to confirm that you're thinking was right. The fact that you have no idea what you're doing simply states that you don't feel like you have any method/way to ensure the answer you picked is right nor can you explain it. That's the difference between math and CR.

well my reasoning is correct but while i'm doing it i still feel as if i got every question wrong when in fact i've been getting nearly 100% every time

then start feeling confident by now. If your reasoning is correct then what's wrong lol. CR is just like math, just then it's harder to find the answers in CR than it is to find the answers in math.
