I'm looking for a good film program?

I have no clue what I'm talking about but

I'm a junior in high school and I'm waning to be a director/producer and I don't really know how to go about that. In all honesty my grades aren't that hot, but I dont want to go somewhere just mediocre but I think that's my only option. My grades aren't HORRIBLE, though.

I was looking at:

University of Central Florida
University of Florida
Arizona State University
SCAD (I'm adding this to the list, but I don't really think this one is the best idea. I hear it isn't worth the money AT ALL.)

Colorado Film School's also on my list but I haven't checked it out yet.

I'm a white female from Alabama, if that's anything to add. I think it'd be nice to stay in the south or the west but I wouldn't be too picky if it comes down to it.

The main one I was looking at was AZ State University but I hear the reviews on the Herberger Institute School of Theatre and Film weren't that impressive (actually I only really saw one thing on it from lurking on the site). BUT, you know.... the website looks super neat, so...

Also I don't exactly know how it works but don't I have to go through round two of applications to even get into the film program? What is that process like?

Thanks so much for any tips/guidance! It's much appreciated.

EDIT:: I TOTALLY FORGOT TO ADD! I'm vice president of my high schools film club and will go on to be president my senior year. Will they see this? Also I haven't made anything for a portfolio but I'm hoping to start working on a project soon. I don't know how well it'll go over because I've never done anything like this, I have basically no experience in making a film of any sort. None that goes past school projects. But I feel like I could study up on it to the point where I can make something decent?

How much will your parents pay each year? That will likely determine where you can afford to go.

What is your GPA? what are your test scores?

Your own flagship has a very good film school. It may end up being your most affordable option.

For two years in a row, UA film students have won Best Picture at the annual Campus Film Festival in Hollywood.
