PLEASE HELP:
I'm from Pakistan where we follow the GCE O/A Level system.
I took 9 subject in O'Levels and got the following grades:
Physics:A
Chemistry:A
Mathematics:A
Computer Studies:A
English Language:A*
Economics:A*
Pakistan Studies:A*
Islamiyat:A*
Urdu:B
It adds up to a weighted (American) GPA of 3.96
I then, procrastinated and wasted the 12th grade, I got two C's and two D's in the mid-terms and got a C,D and an E in my finals.
I also took an AS Level subject and got an A in it (General paper).
My question is, what are my chances of getting into the following?
McGill Faculty of Arts (Econ major)
UoToronto Trinity College (Econ major)
UBC (Econ Major main campus)
I have a recommendation from the Econ professor at UToronto, which explains why I messed up the 12th grade. I plan to apply for the fall semester of 2014. I am not applying for financial aid. My predicted grades are as follows:
Physics: B
Chemistry:C
Maths: D
But my teacher recommendations refute this as my teacher has explicitly stated that I fell ill (Typhoid) and as a result of which was unable to study.
PLEASE HELP ME I'M FREAKING OUT.

Please reply i am really losing it.

What’s the retake policy with respect to A-levels?

These are my internal grades at school.
I haven’t given my A Levels as of yet.

Best bet at this point: do well on the real A-levels, and then try again… BCD would not cut it as a predicted.

My guidance councillor refutes this by saying that I am applying to the Faculty of Arts, which is far less competitive (McGill) as to that compared to the Faculty of Science.

Still unlikely to cut it if those are your predicted scores.
Best bet is to take the exams and apply to Winter Term entrance with your results in hand next year (Canadian schools tend to accept this more readily than American colleges).

Did you take any SAT/ACT?

Yes, I took the SAT twice which is the reason why I failed to perform sufficiently in the 12th grade which then caused a decrease in my predicted grades. I got 1900 the first time (without studying whatsoever). I studied really hard and ended up with a 1990 (insanely underwhelming) superscore.
