Im not sure if people often do this or if i even should but... I recently visited columbia university and fell in love. Its gorgeous, but I dont know if I can get in. My final unweighted average of my juniour yeear was a 94.2(idk what that is in GPA) I got a 28 on ACT and 1840 on my SAT. I've been in more clubs than I can count many of them in leadership positions (I counted 7, 2 leadership), i played varsity tennis and if it helps I'm hispanic. I also did over 500 hours of community service. So let me know if there is anything I can do? Please and thank you.

honestly no. i have a 2250 and i highly doubt i can get itn. check the 25th to 75th percentile and you will see that it is way above an 1840. don’t delude yourself, but be encouraged by the option of transfers and grad schools

Being hispanic definitely helps, but you would still need at least a 2200 sat score, along with awards, high leadership positions, and at least one big thing that makes you stand out. this can be anything from getting published in a medical journal or novel, 2400 sat score and 3 800s subject scores, starting a charity that became statewide or national, etc. something that is extremely uncommon, in a good way.
