um what's OOS?

out of state

crap, i'm on the same boat...

michigan's pretty hard for oos...no real surprise there.

the fact that ur going for ross make it that much harder.

can anyone chance me though? and do I have a higher chance of getting into NYU cuz I'm in state?

I am surprised to hear from you guys that it is so hard to get into UMich OOS. Based on myself, I would have said you were defintely in. (I just found out two days ago I got accepted to U of M--but I am in state). I did not take the subject tests, but from what I saw those look good. Your extra cirriculars are fine...just don't ramble. I talked to an admissions conselour when I was doing my app and they hate long lists. Pick your best 6 and develop growth within those, rather than 20 things. (and leave out stuff u know is meaningless and havent done with passion). ANYWAY, I say you are def. in to U of M (did you apply early response)? Do realize, however, less than 1% of Ross' entering class are from preferred admit. It is extremely hard to get in preferred admit. Nonetheless, you have a shot. Good luck!

p.s.: anotherasian said it's harder cuz ur applyitng to ross. Michigan admits you into LSA (pre-business) college BEFORE htey review your Ross application. So..technically the type of preferred admit has no advantage OR disadvantage into actually getting into Michigan

thanks for the encouragement london!

BUMP, please chance!
