I'm not stellar but how are my chances still?

Hey guys. I'm a quarter of the way through my junior year and I've been thinking about college for a long time. I want to take pre-med when I graduate and eventually make my way to be an oncologist but I don't know where my grades will get me so I need some advice from you guys. I was thinking of Duke, JHU, Boston College, and University of Washington(where I live).

I currently have a 3.45 unweighted GPA (AP History classes screwed me over). So far I'm taking all honors/AP courses in all my classes except for English. I have a 2070 on my SATs (will probably retake) and I will be taking at least 3 SAT IIs (Math, Biology, and Physics) early next year.
I don't have many EC's (small school). I've done piano for 10 years with theory and practical study awards, been on Varsity Track for 2 years, organized and ran chapels/assemblies, and volunteered at the Children's Hospital for 2 years.

Think I have a good chance so far? What can I do to improve? Any other suggestions on other colleges to look into?

Duke, John Hopkins, and Boston College will all require an unweighted GPA of around 3.7 or better. SATs at these schools will need to be 2150+ for Duke, 2050+ (already achieved) for John Hopkins and 1950+ (already achieved) for Boston College.

Your current GPA and SAT should be sufficient to get you into the University of Washington.

Other colleges to consider with great pre-med programs: Wisconsin, Penn State, Ohio State, Lawrence University, UC Santa Cruz, and Boston University.

hmmm... thanks for the info. I was already thinking about dropping Duke and JHU off my list. Too hard to get in for me >.<

Any other suggestions? If I can get into Washington, shouldn't I just stay there? They're premed is pretty good right? Would it be a big difference if I spend the extra thousands of dollars to get into a better school?

bump.... =]
