I'm on the Chances board, guess what I want

<p>I would like to get a feel how others percieve my chances, and see just how reach biased my list is at this point.</p>

<p>From Michigan, and very comfortable with MSU and UM, so that is why my list is heavy on the reaches.</p>

<p>Stats:
ACT: 34
SAT II's: 780 USH; 740 Physics
3.7 UW GPA(top 10%; if it was weighted top 3-5%)
National Merit possible semifinalist
Football - to be 4 years
Lacrosse - will be 3 next spring(also play in summer and winter, and ref)
Spanish Club - 3 years, can't do a 4th year as I won't be in spanish
-not captain or board member as positions are reserved for seniors
Volunteering - 50 hours with spanish club, 30 alone various, 100 hours english as a second language, doing Hab. for Humanity this summer(local, not international)
Community Service Award
blah, blah, blah
AP USH - 5
AP Psy, Calc, Lang - TBD(expecting 5; 3; 4/5)
Next year - AP Macro and Micro econ; AP Physics C; AP Lit; AP Gov.; Calc II and a Psych course at the local CC; TIES(a program where you help a special education or disabled kid for an hour)
Most demanding courseload available(most AP's at my school, etc.)</p>

<p>And my schools(will be shorter by the time I apply):
Stanford
Pomona
CMC
USC
Northwestern
Michigan
Michigan State
Rice
Williams
Colgate
Cornell
Middlebury
Dartmouth</p>

<p>And I'm looking to do something where I'll end up in business, UM and USC - UG business; possibly econ or psych at other schools.</p>

<p>awards and extracurriculars are a bit light. u look like a fine candidate at most of those schools, though.</p>

<p>'bout what I was thinking, but hopefully I can make up for that between essays and recs(they'll be excellent, just like everyone else says ;) )</p>

<p>Stanford isn't happening. But you're a good canidate for most of the LACs you listed. But Middlebury will be killer next year.</p>

<p>Well I know that Stanford is slim to none, and slim left town, but it has everything I want, so maybe I can convince them they want me. At this point though I'm thinking about EDing with Williams or Rice, but I'm still visiting schools.</p>

<p>ivies = reject</p>

<p>Care to elaborate there firefox...</p>

<p>mediocre GPA. decent scores (doesn't hurt doesn't help). generic ECs. only thing i see that stands out is volunteering. with that, though, stanford and other ivies are pretty much rejects</p>
