Hey I'm really sorry romani...I'm going through a similar situation right now.

My dog who I've had since I was 6 years old is nearing the end of her life. I love her so much. Like you said, she's my best friend. I can't remember life without her, in fact. She's always been there. When I'm upset and crying, she licks the tears of my face and sits with me. When I need someone to vent to, I talk to her (..really, I do.) She's such an intelligent dog. She was just diagnosed with diabetes, which is managable although she is slowly going blind, but worst of all, she has really low protein levels. They don't think she'll last for more than a month. It's heartbreaking.

So I can really understand where you're coming from. With college apps, homework, APs and all that, dealing with this is especially hard. If you need anyone to talk to, feel free to pm me!

Stay strong and just remember: your dog had a great life. She lived a long time, as for as dogs go. You and your family loved her and gave her all you could.

Feel better, I know it's hard...
