I applied to University of Houston for Fall 2013 a a tranfer student from my local CC. I was under the impression that I could submit my current transcripts when I sent my application. My current transcript reflects the 12 credits I earned for Fall 2012, and shows that I am in the process of earning another 15 this semester. I checked my app status and it told me that I had an incomplete application after a week of showing that the application was completele. After calling the admissions office a kind lady explained to me that since I had completed 12 hours according to my transcript that I would have to meet freshmen requirements despite the transcipt showing that I was enrolled in another 15 credits hours for this semester. She said they cannot admit someone simply because it says they are enrolled in classes because anything could happened such as that student dropping those courses. I asked her if I could resubmit my transcripts to them since my semester ended Wednesday and the deadline isn't until June 1. She then said she would check but that she wasnt sure because my app had already been listed as incomplete. Has anyone ever experience this? Is it possible for me to resumbit and then gain acceptance? Thank you and sorry this is so long!

i dont see why it wouldnt be possible

I don’t either. However the lady I spoke with said that she wasnt sure and would have a counselor contact me. I was under the impression that my transcripts were to be sent and that I would be accepted if it showed that I was enrolled in those classes even if they had not yet been completed. Then I would have to resend my transcripts once the spring semester ended to assure that I had completed those classes.
