<p>Has anyone (or know of anyone who) ever applied to transfer and decide to stay at their current school. This question does not really have anything to do with my current plans, I am just really curious if this is a common/very uncommon thing to see and if so why?</p>

<p>In my case yes. I am giving my college another semester, but I am also applying to other schools. In the end I might decide to stay the only negative is the nonrefundable application free.</p>
<p>not if it's a two year community college...</p>
<p>If I get into any of the schools I applied to, I will still consider staying at my current institution for various reasons, although it would be unlikely for me to stay.</p>
