I'm Repeating Spanish 2!!!!!! PLS GIVE ADVICE

I lived in 4 different countries and um a international student.
i attended a american school in a foreign country before i moved into the states.
In my old school, my spanish class was a joke. I never learned enough to procede into spanish 3
so i decided to retake spanish 2 in a public school in the states.
The councelor said it wont hurt my college admision because i moved into a whole new environment.
Please tell me if its not problem to repeat a class although i got an A in my old spanish2 class.

And please tell me if its significant in college admission to have lived in 4 countries (Europe, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, America) all for 3 or more years? (and how much)

im really worried about this repeating of spanish 2. I still could change but i would really like to learn spanish.
do you recommend me to take another languages for two more year or repeat spanish 2 and take spanish 3 next year?

i'll really appreciate your reply.....

bump bump bump

I can't imagine that repeating Spanish 2 would be held against you, especially considering the circumstances. It's not like you failed it the first time, the class was just not up to par. The college applications I have seen simply ask how many years of foreign language you have...I would just count the two years of Spanish 2 as one year.

I would suggest that you ask to see the books for Spanish 2 and 3 to see which would be more appropriate. You might ask for a placement test. Also, in our school district, level 3 classes are conducted to varying extents in the foreign language. Ask yourself if you could participate in a class conducted in Spanish if this is indeed the system at your new school.
