If I join the Columbia class of 2013 group, will the admins of that club be able to see my profile? I want to join so i can meet others of the class but I don't want the admins to see it.

Seriously?

If you're that worried, change your privacy settings so only your friends can see your profile, then join away.

wait your not allowed to see the group unless you are actually going to columbia?

It's in bad taste I would think. Sort of like ******s from new jersey saying they're from New York. You're not!

And even if they could, why would they spend the time and energy to go through the hundreds of facebook profiles to look for incriminating pictures when they've got better things to do, like read regular decision apps.

Of course they won't bother with everyone, but if you happen to appear questionable or you're competing for something prestigious, they would.

Princeton did for a while, this i know.
