i can't even sleep b/c my dorm is suffocatingly hot.
is it just me, or is everyone else feeling the heat as well?

i know i'll be longingly thinking of these days sometime in november but....
damn

try creating a draft…

open all your windows…and crack your door a little with a shoe or something…

get a fan if you really can’t sleep. It will get colder though, soon.

Yeah, seriously! First night here that even at night it was hot…

But don’t worry, if the Weather Channel does not lie, then on Saturday, the weather should be totally different:
High: 65°
Low: 49°

So, just one more week of heat, I suppose.

I’m from Florida so im used to high temps and mildly high humidity… looking forward to the cooler temps however (this past Fl. summer was soo hot). Though admittedly, im not 100% thrilled to losing the summer heat to freezing winters

furreal, what is this. and i actually want it to be nice on saturday, as i’m supposed to go tubing but now i guess not. boooooooo

Buy A small blizzard fan by holmes. Im sure there are others, but this is the one I have. Lay it next to you when you sleep. It is the only fan that I have that doesnt kick dust all over your face. I sleep like a baby.

ahhh, air conditioning :)

^ becker ftw

wha…
some of you guys have AIR CONDITIONING?

it’s so hot right now that i’m now typing away sitting ON my desk so i can be near my open windows.
never mind that the others will think i’m a freak.

did you try doing what i said?

lol. becker’s actually pretty damn cold ._.

i have 3 fans in my room and the windows are closed because i dont want insects in my room :-/…and it’s friggen hot still!

omg cornell needs to put AC in every damn building i tell ya

I’m in Mews so I’m lucky. went to clara dickson the other day…boy was it hot in those rooms

It’s actually very cool in my room even without the AC which is surprisingly nice. I’m ready for fall though.

i got AC and fans. works pretty well

My air-conditioner isn’t going colder than 66 degrees :'(

dear CornellPerson,
i hate you.

i took all the drinks out of my mini fridge and used the shelves as a desk and did
my hw w/ half my body inside my mini fridge.
and i completely rearranged my room settings just so i could be near my fridge.

You will feel it’s even HOTTER when you do that because you generate more heat by keeping the door of the fridge open while it’s trying to cool down the ROOM!

wow, it is warm but it’s not that extreme, is it? go spend lots of hours in RPCC and Appel, or the libraries, but don’t misuse the fridge.

I spent the entire summer without AC so this just feels like more of the same to me.
