I'm so worried about getting rescinded...

Hey guys, I am attending NMH next year and my grades have significantly fallen. I had a 3.9 when I applied and now have a 3.5. All my grades are A’s and A-'s, except my Spanish and my Fine Arts, which are both B’s. Currently in Art we only had one graded assignment but I’m just not so good at it and in Spanish I’m having difficulty one a specific topic, in learning reflexive verbs…

I’m working towards improving these grades but is there a possibility I may get rescinded?
I read other people’s posts and every answer is saying that anything above a D is fine but even with such a huge drop in you grades? btw, the e-mail of acceptance had said “Maintaining” you grades…

If you keep them Bs, it should be fine.

Then I’m not sure why you think you will get a different answer. You’re fine.

If you think that’s hard, just wait until you get to the subjunctive >:) Fortunately, it won’t be this year.

I like the subjunctive!!

^ I don’t mind it; I just make mistakes with it, since I have a tendency to follow the Italian rules of use, which do not always apply in Spanish.

FYI I was warned because I recommended the OP go to the Spanish teacher and get help with verbs. BUT I wrote it in Spanish. Mea culpa (oops, my bad, that was/used to be Italian.)

It exists in Italian, as in English, because it was borrowed. However, it’s actually Latin.

I just finished learning reflexive verbs in Spanish class, and boy, that was a hard topic… I think you’ll be fine with the grades. I applied with a 3.95 and I have a 3.86 now. Keep it up with your grades and don’t fall too far behind anymore

What if someone failed one class but aced all his other classes? Will he still b rescinded?

Can you get rescinded if you get a detention or suspension in the 4th quarter??

Probably, but you should ask the school in question.

Detention - no. Suspension - depends on the infraction which resulted in the suspension; no school wants to inherit a discipline problem. However, ask the school to be sure.

I’m kind of worried too. My grades have lowered a little from low As to a few B-s. Hopefully not. Final exams are coming up, though.
