ahahaha. Definitely.

Are you doing Model UN this year? I am. I'm Germany on DISEC. Nuclear nonproliferation, hell yes!!!!

ahahaha. Definitely.

Are you doing Model UN this year? I am. I'm Germany on DISEC. Nuclear nonproliferation, hell yes!!!!

Which Model UN. There are so many. I'm doing Yale.

Oh, I'm doing UChicago. Heh, I live, like, less than an hour away from UChicago.

Ah, that stinks. Oh well. Yale is hardcore fun. I got a Politburo Crisis Committee. I'm a stinkin' Commie :D

ahahaha

S'all right, comrade. As long as you help the state, s'all right. Just try not to get tainted by all those capitalistic pigs.

ahaha, Communism is near and dear to my heart. I was born in Romania right at the fall of Communism, so I've heard ALL about communism from my parents, who are big fans.

Lol, you know about Dialogo? And I'm somewhat of a socialist. Although I might be libertarian. Trying to figure that out right now.

It's hard for me to label my opinions on how the government and the economic system should work because although I have a natural tendancy towards socialism, I always have the image of what it turns into. I think we just need a little bit of anything, but then again how do we define "a little bit of everything"?

Heh, I think the U.S. government is going to swing from one extreme to another. Because people in democracies don't realize they have too much of a good thing until they are pretty far down the road in one direction.

This is true, but our opinions of moderation and extremity is going to change all the time. So, it's hard to keep the government down a steady path. This type of oscillation is completely natural in a government. Stagnation only leads to decay.

I'm just happy that I'm so close to getting to vote. FINALLY!!!!!

When do you vote?

I'm turning 18 in March, so I get to vote in the next congressional cycle, and then in 2008!!! WOOO!!! I think it's definitely going to go democratic next time.

Howard Dean should have ran for the Democratic ballot in 2004. He was a rock star. John Kerry's...face didn't move. It was creepy. How do you trust a guy whose face is full of botox?

I'm rooting for Mark Warner. He's a Virginia Dem. We need some Southern states. I was a Deaniac in 2004. That sucked so much when he lost.

y dont u just PM each other instead of hijacking the thread?

< iron chef (almost)

y dont u just PM each other instead of hijacking the thread?

We actually hijacked about three...without really realizing it. Sorry. It won't happen again.

How were you almost an Iron Chef?

hahaha harvard SSP.

they had their first ever iron chef competition.

one of 16 competitors. it was intense

... thinks the Ivy League system is superficial.

Lol, c'mon hopelesshobo, it's not like anyone else was up anyway :)

I'm the only EA applicant who hasn't heard yet. Okay, I'm not, but that's what it feels like.

I havent heard yet either

BUT i've been bitten by a dog, a dying squirrel, and a hamster that died a few days after it bit me. Hmm...

I'm also an indian immigrant (been in states for less than 5 years) who is a volunteer firefighter at a completely volunteer fire company. Pretty cool eh?
