I go to the University of South Florida and am currently a Biology major with a concentration in cell biology. However, as I read more and more about the skills necessary to succeed in grad school I began to realize how interdisciplinary of a field neuroscience can be. I'm not sure anymore what to major in. I know it's something in the hard sciences/ computer science/math but it's tough to choose and I don't know if double majoring is wise since most STEM fields have heavy credit requirements. I also want to keep options open in case grad school doesn't work out for me and I feel that there's nothing for me (nothing else worth my effort and time) in the biological sciences unless I pursue neuroscience. Any ideas on an applicable and versatile major that would help? Is double majoring feasible? Also my issue is that USF doesn't have a biology minor so that's out of the question.

I'm a freshman and still learning of course so these may be dumb questions but I came in with lots of credits and will be entering classes that actually matter soon so I must make a decision in the near future!
