I'm transferring universities, but the notification dates for the schools I've applied to are drastically different, and I have to accept the one I've gotten in to so far by April 31st or I lose the offer. On the other hand, I don't particularly want to go there, but I'm worried about getting in to the other schools. What should I do?

Also, another issue is how many credits will transfer. I'm at Drexel now, and I've heard Drexel credits don't transfer very well. Any words of wisdom?

You can accept the first offer now, and cancel if you are admitted later at the second place. This is essentially a wait-list situation. However, expect to lose any deposits that you pay to the first university.

Each institution determines for itself which courses transfer from other institutions. If you are concerned about your credits from Drexel, you need to ask the university that has offered you transfer admission whether they can give you a preliminary estimate of which courses count and which don’t.
