my high school is reallllllly small ( less than 200 students) so there aren't many courses I can take or clubs I can join*

Please, pretty please, could you chance me?

Do you need financial aid? If so, your chances are a lot lower.

Thanks for replying me greennblue…sorry for my late reply…I’m pretty new to collegeconfidential and plus I had so many apps to complete! :D

I was just wondering if sending in my application early (Oct.12th to be precise) and meeting my regular decision deadline/priority deadline would increase my chances by a smidgen? Especially for financial aid?

And yes, I am applying for financial aid…UR tends to be quite expensive and my family cannot pay it all.

Thanks again,

From what I know, UR gives grants to some international students to offset the cost of attendance. Make sure you apply for financial aid using the forms they want. Here is the link: [International Students, Financial Aid, University of Richmond](<a href=“Financial Aid - University of Richmond”>Financial Aid - University of Richmond) I’m sure you’ve seen it, but if you haven’t, start reading up and make sure you get that done so you can have a good chance of getting financial aid. Now, if you don’t get help from them as a freshman, though, likely chances of you getting aid in the other years is very, very small.

DEFINITELY apply early. If not by Oct. 12th, please make sure to apply by or before the deadline for Richmond Scholars. If you really want to attend Richmond and your family can’t afford it, Richmond Scholars (a merit scholarship) might just be your best bet. So please make sure to apply early.

:) I hope this helps.

Now, I’m curious, why do you want to go to UR? What do you like about it? As a student here, if there’s anything about the school, the people, professors, etc, I can answer for you, let me know, okay? Best of luck.

here’s an international peer!~~~ DId you apply under ED(cuz the time u summit the app does help) I was kinda late with the apps, as it’s not until late Nov did I decide to attend college in the US. So I missed the prioty deadline for Richmond Scholars:=(
I ended up in applying under RD< anxiously waiting for the results…
Anyway good luck to ya! wish we could be classmates this fall.
