<p>Thanks for posting on here. Just wondering if you had any idea on the international applicants...I know there are around 534 of them, but would you know:
a. How many come from South Asia?
b. How many of those ask for aid?
Rough figures would be great...</p>

<p>In general, I don't know how many people applied from Alamaba, South Asia, or anything else. All I can say is a lot from Asia, and not many from Alabama.</p>

<p>Most of the South Asians are fabulously rich little scions. So don't worry about competing with them for aid. Also the financial aid paperwork is physically separated from the rest of the application to ensure true need-blind admissions.</p>

Yes. But this is from personal experience, not Admissions policy. They don't post it at the stated time on the dot, usually a bit earlier. I remember my year they put results up at 3pm and I got mine at 2.40. And get ready to wait 10 minutes for a page to load as several thousand equally anxious kids will be coming down on that page like a mofo (or several thousand mofos, rather).</p>

<p>I believe the joint-degree ones are done first for that very reason.</p>
