okay, yeah, b/c of their rude admission officers, let’s boycott penn, i say we all rescind our applications tomorrow :)

O.o? I don't get it. I doubt you would even get to talk to an actual admissions officer if you call nowadays, because all of them have already trapped themselves in their homes/basements to start on the 20,000 or so RD applications...
And the rule is never to call to ask if they have received your app/rec/test scores...because if they are missing something, THEY'LL NOTIFY YOU.

I hate the Penn admissions people- they're so mean!

I'm all for the boycott: everyone else- withdraw your applications! ;)

no we can't do that...I mean penn is our safety school right ;)

It's all a test to see how much you really want to go.

Apparently you've failed.

^^^ lol

LOL I was just hoping others would withdraw their applications, thus making admission easier for me! :p

I like your logic, calidan...I thought thats what you were up to when you said "everyone else - withdraw your applications!"

Theres nothing wrong with the admissions staff?! Why the Dean of Admissions even has the 20000 letters they send out signed with an autopen! What a personal touch. Did anybody else get a letter or two signed in blue ink? Or am I special? (If that's not an autopen he used for mine, then I feel very honored.)

lol, the autopen reminded me of rumsfeld

I rescinded my application because of the crooks on the adcom there(no joke) If you want to know more specific deatails, send me a message.

That's the problems that arise when you're dealing with schools as big as Penn and Columbia. That's why I prefer smaller Ivies.

Well I don't know about admissions peeps, but everyone I've talked to has been super nice. :D
