Screwing with the AP Graders is back this year, with Kanye's VMA speech taking it place among "This is Sparta!" and "Why So Serious"

Basically, if you haven't done this before write somewhere, anywhere, in your Free Response/Essay/DBQ, "I'mma let you finish but..." and then CROSS IT OUT. Because of the college board's policy, the grader will not be allowed to take it into consideration when scoring your essay.

So, has anyone done this in the past, also on facebook they are coming up with full quotes for each exam (just for kicks) such as AP Bio: Yo, Helicase, I'm happy for you and I'mma let you finish, but, Myosin is the best motor protein of all time. OF ALL TIME.

LOL I should put that when my ap biology test comes around…

I’m curious though if anyone has ever written anything on theirs, and if you think it effected your grade? (I know the policy says no, but you never know…)

I’ve done quite a few things on mine.

Sophomore year I was so sick of AP euro I drew a stick figure hitler on my free response.

Last year on calc ab i wrote “I really wan’t to get into Berkeley.” (where I wanted to go at the time) and then crossed it out. It didn’t hurt me, I got a 4, and I was expecting a 3 or 4 at best.

I did the “Why so serious?” on the English Language, and APUSH exams, and got a 5 on both, so I think most of the graders follow the policy pretty well.

^I saw the fascism one and liked it, and the AP Bio ones are pretty good too. One of the kids in my AP Stats class had: “Yo Z-test, I’mma let you finish, but chi-square is the best significance test of ALL TIME”, which I found pretty funny, at least as far funny as stats is concerned.

Also, as a fellow North Carolinian, did your school let out for the “snow”? Our school let us go at 10 because they were afraid that the rain might become snow (which it didn’t).

AP English Language: Yo Socrates, I’m happy for you, and I’mma let you finish, but Aristotle was the most rhetorical philosopher of all time. OF ALL TIME.

AP Computer Science: Yo selection sort, I’m happy for you, and I’mma let you finish, but insertion sort is the most efficient sorting method of all time. OF ALL TIME.

AP Chemistry: Yo Boyle, I’m happy for you, and I’mma let you finish, but Avogadro had the most important gas law of all time. OF ALL TIME.

I drew flowers all over my sheet on AP Language and wrote WHYSOSRS and a few other unpleaseant things ABOUT the CollegeBoard and I still got a 5 So I the readers follow policies well.

HAAHAHAHAHAAHAHA aw, the problem for me would be that during the exam, I’d be so nerve-wracked that I wouldn’t be able to think up anything witty and clever XD

“AP Computer Science: Yo selection sort, I’m happy for you, and I’mma let you finish, but insertion sort is the most efficient sorting method of all time. OF ALL TIME.”

^Haha, that’s a good one for CS, but I might switch it to linear search vs. binary search

APUSH: Yo Bush, imma let you finish, but James Buchanan was one of the worst executive officers of all time(it would be more ironic if it was last year).
Either Calculus: Yo Riemann Sum. You’re a good approximation and imma let you carry out that limit but the Definite Integral’s the real sh**. Get over it.
AP Lang: Yo rhetorical analysis, I would finish, but I hate you SO much.
There are some really good ones on the Facebook group.

I did “Why so serious?” last year (took only 2 AP’s, soph) on both exams and got a 5, so I’d stop worrying about it.

For AP world I even put in the beginning “excuse my lovely charming handwriting in advance” in **large capital letters/B and at the end of essays and etc I was bored so I wrote 2 paragraphs on pokemon and started drawing pikachu (I never draw so this was fail). I didn’t even cross the pokemon paragraphs out.

Eh I think for psychology I just fell asleep after the test.

Lol, for the CS AB exam last year, I finished early so I drew the Joker and his famous caption underneath in an awesome stencil design. It helped me get a 5.

I think drawings, even if it’s just in block letters, convey the message better than just a crossed out string of words.
