Immigrants!

Why did your parents move to America?

College education.

Yeah, many people come for the education.

to get a good education( mainly my mom b/z my dad went to college in Nigeria) and make money in order for us kids to get a good education and make money

Because there was a war, my uncle was in a concentration camp, we helped him get out, he came to the US through an organization, sent us papers, we came to the US. My parents weren't really expecting it considering we had a great life in Europe, it kinda just came as a suprise.

My dad came for education, and my mom came because she got married to my dad.

because she lived under communism.
and
because communist wanted to kill him.

Grandparents came to find a better life, American Dream, etc. My dad went to Greece, got a wife (my mom), and came back to America to start a living.

becuase europe sucked i guess

because asia sucked i guess.
and education.

money
are we the only ones or what?

College !

Better education...more opportunities...and an all-around safer life

education, money, environment, opportunity . . .

to them, a better life = money, education

To escape a communist regime, have a better life with freedom, more job opportunities, better education for me, and to have a chance at living the American Dream.

both came to get masters degrees. for a better life--going to America meant success. Plus my mother always wanted to go to America--life sucked for her back home.

My dad wanted to get a good education and could sense a revolution going on in his country.
My mom because she married my dad.

money, job opportunities, have a better life, although the country they left was ruled under communism, that wasn't a big factor.

I'm not going to describe it publicly but we had no choice other then US (well, I guess the second choice was to die in the completely retarded city from hunger because we were't able to get anywhere else). Thank God we're in US though.
