Hello. I was admitted for this fall. However, I am highly immunocompromised and my doctor advised me to take online classes. I am wondering if anyone out there is in the same boat. I feel pretty alone. TIA.
Are you registered with the Office of Disabilities? They need to accommodate you. Even if a class in not online, the lecture can be recorded and alternatives provided for “participation.” My kid is a professor with health conditions and advocates for students. Your dean can encourage professors to comply as well. Good luck! I am sure you are “Zoomed Out” and feeling left behind but this is not forever. Keep you life going as much as you can while remaining safe. (I am also compromised but older and consequences aren’t as painful as for you!)
