<p>Im a senior that just finished the application process and one of the top schools that want to go to is Cal poly Pomona for civil engineering. Unfortunately, their college of engineering is really impacted, and i was dumb to put my alternate major as aerospace engineering (an impacted major as well) on my app. I got an email from CPP letting me know about the impacted majors situation and they gave me the chance to change my majors. </p>
<p>Can you guys please give me some input on whether i should leave both my major and alt major as impacted majors or if i should change my majors as non impacted majors, so that i could get into the school and hopefully change into civil engineering later because its one of my dreams to get into a polytechnic school (side note: CPP's undeclared major is also impacted -_-)</p>
<p>or perhaps i should just leave my main major as CE but then change my alt major into something that isnt impacted but somewhat related to the department?</p>
